Governor Torunoğlu and his delegation went to Ankara in connection with the ban on banana prices.
Chairman of the Board of Directors Ferudun Torunoğlu under the chairmanship of Customs and Trade Minister Cenap Aşçı Bey Anamur and Bozyazı'ya lasting days of urgency on the banana prices were discussed. A report on the region was presented. Anamur and Bozyazı`s production area and tonnage and the most modern facilities on this product was given detailed information about the business world. The main firm owners stated that the producer holds the investor facility owners responsible for the decrease and that they do not supply them from their friends.
He said that in every segment, this price was due to imported bananas. As Anamur Chamber of Commerce and Industry, we demanded that the Ministry's sensitivity on this incident be increased a little more.
